Join Us for the Troll’s Knoll Work Party: October 12th

On Saturday, October 12 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Friends of Troll’s Knoll is hosting a Community Work Party for the park to plant new trees, mulch the trails, and plant some new bulbs for the spring! We’re also paying homage to one of the original community flyers that helped inspire care for this space. We’ve adapted its artwork for our 2025 event to celebrate the park’s history and carry that same spirit forward.

What We’ll Be Doing

• Planting new trees.

• Planting bulbs for a burst of color in the spring.

• Mulching trails to keep paths safe and welcoming.

How You Can Help

Everyone is welcome! Tools, gloves, mulch, trees, and bulbs will all be provided as well as snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring your water bottle and don’t forget some sturdy shoes.

Event Details

Troll’s Knoll Park: Meet at the east side of the Fremont Troll, by the community shed near the Troll’s Knoll Arch.
